Like lots and batches, serial numbers are properties that can be different for stock items of the same product. I don't get why the files names are differents.Serial number inventory tracking involves the process of tracking the serial number s of various products. However the same ls but in the dvd automatically mounted (in udf) gives me : I've noticed that a ls in the dvd gives me :Ģ720 -rwx- 1 *** *** 2784560 11:03 west africa 110 setup pc.exeĢ dr-xr-xr-x 1 *** *** 2048 12:56 west africa installer macmpkgĢ dr-xr-xr-x 1 *** *** 2048 12:53 west africa library west afric The installation begins, but it suddenly stops and asks : "Please insert West Africa". I had to add uid and gid to have the proper permissions. Sudo mount -t iso9660 -o uid=***,gid=*** /dev/cdrom "/media/West Africa"

However, I am now trying to install Native Instrument West Africa and I have the same problem but this time it doesn't work. I had the same problem with the Native Instrument Vintage Keys and it solved my problem. I'm sorry to dig this old post, but first of all : thanks for this answer. Not 'see' these as the entries and files are usually in standard ISO9660 On Thu Aug 12 22:03, James McKenzie sent:
Might this mean that WINE is not showing the files to the installer program? If Linux can't see the directories, I'm assuming WINE can't see themĪny idea what is going on here? How do I get Linux to see the files so that WINE can show them as well? When I viewed the DVD with the graphical Nautilus file browser the directories were also not revealed, even though I had theĨ34 drwxr-xr-x 12 4294967295 4294 06:16. Even running `ls -lai` the additionalĭirectories don't appear. I explored the DVD with XP, the DVD appears to have 8 hidden folders which do not show up in Linux. In checking things out on an actual Win XP box I noticed something VERY odd. HOWEVER, I think I may have found the source of the problem. Oddly, when I actually clicked to begin the installation, the DVD drive spun up, but then the pop-up message again indicates "Disk Not Found". I tried both of them, but still got the identical problem. Unfortunately, neither solution fixed the problem. Think about how you would install this in Windows: It's obviously seeing the DVD since it's running the Run the installation program from, so I don't understand why it can't see those files. The disk it is asking for is the same one I've Of actually installing the software, a pop-up alert says "Disk Not Found", "Please insert Komplete 6". However, after answering the setup questions (storage directories, etc - I don't change anything, I just accept the defaults), once it gets to the point ~/.wine/dosdevices$ wine start d:\Komplete\ 6\ Setup\ PC.exe I run the install program, it runs from the DVD as expected: Lrwxrwxrwx 1 cosmo cosmo 8 19:12 d:: -> /dev/sr0 Lrwxrwxrwx 1 cosmo cosmo 13 20:19 d: -> /media/cdrom0 I've checked to see that the mapping of the d: drive is correctly pointing to the I'm having trouble installing a program from the CDROM / DVD drive.
